In what has to be the weirdest update since Jose Canseco took part in Dream, actor Jean-Claude Van Damme has signed to fight a professional Muay Thai fight in March 2010.
Van Damme’s opponent will be Somluck Kamsing, a 1996 Olympic gold medal winner in boxing hailing for Thailand. The fight will take place in Las Vegas and be contested under Muay Thai rules with five two-minute rounds. Kamsing has also reported that he will be paid in part based on broadcast revenue, so the fight will be aired in some way – no details yet if it will be on a network or PPV.

Si Jean-claude combattait, ce ne serait vraiment pas dans la même catégorie que Somrak donc ce combat n’aura jamais lieu. C’est une rumeur lancé par on ne sait qui et vous contribuez à sa propagation, quelle naïveté.
Ce n’est pas une rumeur du tout. J’ai assiste a la signature du contrat avec Somrak, et j’etais avec JCVD a Bangkok la semaine derniere !!!!
