Ray Sefo to coach The Contender Asia Season 2

The Contender Asia is returning for a 2nd season and recently announced that the two coaches will be K-1 veteran Ray Sefo, along with Muay Thai champion Clifton Brown. Some interesting names in the cast list as well including Duane “Bang” Ludwig, Kit Cope, Marco Pique, and Marcus Oberg.

The Contender Asia is a Muay Thai based reality show similar to The Ultimate Fighter or the American version of The Contender, with one fighter emerging as champion in the end. Last year’s first season featured Dzhabar Askerov, John Wayne Parr, and season winner Yodsanklai Fairtex among others. Season 2 is set to begin broadcasting in October on OXN.

What is sad is Kit Cope has a good chance in this thing.

After the whole Khem fiasco and some other shady news that was picked up – needless to say I don’t have any interest in it anymore. Not that I followed the first season outside the final anyway.
